By renting a tuk-tuk, using our services, or accessing our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Please read this page carefully before making a booking.

1. General Terms

  • These Terms & Conditions apply to all tuk tuk rentals, guided tours, and related services offered through our website.

  • By making a reservation, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and truthful.

  • We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.

2. Eligibility

To rent and drive a tuk-tuk in Sri Lanka, the customer must:

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Hold a valid international or local driving licence

  • Obtain the Sri Lanka Tourist Driving Permit (we assist with this process)

3. Rental Requirements

3.1 Driver Responsibility

The renter must:

  • Drive responsibly and follow Sri Lankan road rules

  • Return the tuk-tuk on the agreed date and time

  • Keep the vehicle in good condition

  • Pay for any fines or traffic violations

3.2 Fuel Policy

  • The tuk tuk is provided with a full tank of fuel.

  • It must be returned with a full tank.

  • Any missing fuel will incur a refill charge.

3.3 Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit is required at the time of pickup.

  • The deposit is refunded after inspection, provided the tuk-tuk is returned in the same condition.

4. Payments & Cancellations

4.1 Payments

  • Full or partial payment may be required during booking.

  • Payments are processed through secure third-party gateways.

4.2 Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 7+ days before pickup: Full refund

  • Cancellations made within 7 days: 50% charge

  • No-show or same-day cancellation: No refund

5. Insurance & Liability

5.1 Insurance Coverage

Our tuk-tuks include:

  • Third-party liability insurance

  • Accident coverage (as per policy terms)

5.2 Exclusions

Insurance does NOT cover:

  • Damage caused by reckless driving

  • Alcohol- or drug-related incidents

  • Lost keys or accessories

  • Off-road driving damage

The renter is responsible for costs not covered by insurance.

6. Vehicle Damage

  • Any damage must be reported immediately

  • Repair costs will be assessed fairly

  • If damage exceeds insurance coverage, the renter must pay the remaining amount

7. Use of the Vehicle

You may not use the tuk-tuk for:

  • Illegal activities

  • Racing or off-roading

  • Carrying more passengers than allowed

  • Commercial transport without prior approval

8. Breakdown & Assistance

  • We provide 24/7 customer support for emergencies

  • If a breakdown occurs due to mechanical issues, we will repair or replace the vehicle

  • If the issue is caused by misuse, repair charges may apply

9. Driving Permit Assistance

  • We assist in obtaining the Sri Lanka Tourist Driving Permit

  • Processing time and approval depend on government authorities

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by external agencies

10. Personal Belongings

We are not responsible for:

  • Lost or stolen personal items

  • Items left inside the tuk tuk after return

11. Website Usage

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Copy or misuse of website content

  • Attempt unauthorized access or data extraction

  • Use the website for fraudulent bookings

12. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Delays caused by weather, traffic, or third parties

  • Personal injury caused by the improper use of the vehicle

  • Indirect or consequential losses

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
